Client reporting tools compared: software, connectors or a managed team

These pages compare popular agency reporting tools with reportfor.agency, a fully managed client reporting service. Pick software if your team has time to build, check and write the reports. Pick a managed team if you want that work done for you, with every number checked against the ad platforms.

How to read these comparisons

Most reporting tools fall into two groups. Reporting platforms give your team dashboards, templates and scheduled reports. Data connectors move data from the ad platforms into Google Sheets, BigQuery or Data Studio. Both are useful. Neither does the work of checking the numbers and writing the client update. That is the work we do.

Each page gives the tool's public price with a link and the date we checked it, a side-by-side table, an honest list of when the tool is the better choice, and a cost example. We use connectors such as Supermetrics, Windsor.ai and Coupler.io in our own pipeline, so those pages explain how to use them with a reporting team.
