ReportGarden alternative: when templates are not the bottleneck
The right ReportGarden alternative depends on what slows your reporting down: if you need a low-cost tool with many ready templates and your team has time to use it, ReportGarden is a strong pick. If the slow part is checking the numbers and writing what they mean for each client, a managed service like reportfor.agency takes that work off your team.
Is ReportGarden still active?
Yes. We checked on 6 Oct 2026. The ReportGarden site lists current plans, a 14-day free trial and its team. Its About page names CEO Sudheer and co-founder Keerthi and says the company is incorporated in Delaware. We found no notice of an acquisition, rebrand or shutdown on its own pages. If you are looking for an alternative, it is a choice, not a forced move.
What ReportGarden does well
ReportGarden is reporting software for digital marketing agencies and in-house teams. Its home page lists:
- 1,000+ customizable templates for marketing use cases.
- 40+ data sources, including Google Ads, GA4, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Search Console and Google Business Profile.
- Scheduled PDF reports sent to client inboxes.
- A white-label client portal with your branding and custom domain.
- Blended multi-channel data and a Google Drive integration.
It says it serves 7,000+ agencies and lists large agency names among its users. That is a mature product with a big template library.
ReportGarden pricing, by client count
ReportGarden prices by how many clients you report on. As listed on its pricing page (checked 6 Oct 2026):
- Standard: $75/month (shown reduced from $89), up to 5 clients, unlimited reports and dashboards, custom metrics.
- Professional: $125/month (shown reduced from $149), up to 10 clients, plus unlimited premium templates and a dedicated onboarding contact.
- Custom: contact for pricing. Adds "Whiteglove services" and custom integrations.
Contracts are monthly or yearly, with discounts for annual plans. The trial is 14 days with no credit card.
Note the Custom plan mentions white-glove services. If you are past 10 clients and want help, ask ReportGarden what that covers. Our offer is different in scope: we run the whole client reporting process every week, not only the setup.

When ReportGarden is the better choice
- You have 10 clients or fewer and a tight budget. $125/month for up to 10 clients is hard to beat on software cost.
- You want many starting layouts. A library of 1,000+ templates saves design time.
- You report on SEO, social and Google Business Profile. ReportGarden lists these sources out of the box.
- Your clients want a scheduled PDF in their inbox. ReportGarden sends it automatically.
- Someone on your team owns reporting. If that person has the time, a tool is enough.
When a managed service is the better choice
Templates solve the layout. They do not decide what changed, why it changed or what to do next. That part needs a person who knows marketing and has time each week. In many agencies, that person is an account manager who should be running campaigns.
A managed service makes sense if most of these are true for you:
- Your reports look fine, but the notes are late or thin. We send a written report every Monday: key results, reasons, next actions and a ready-to-send client email.
- Clients have spotted wrong numbers before. We check that data is fresh and complete every day. If your client finds a wrong number before we flag it, that client's month is free (finished days only; recent "provisional" days excluded).
- You learn about problems from the client. Daily Slack alerts tell your team when spend, cost per conversion or conversions move more than 20%.
- You do not want to hire for this. A data engineer and an analyst cost about $190,000 per year in US base pay (BLS May 2024 medians).
- You want to own the data. It lives in your Google account, not in our system.
Your agency time is review only, under 1 hour per client per month. Learn how our PPC reporting service covers paid media clients.
Cost example: 10 clients
ReportGarden Professional
$125 /monthUp to 10 clients, as listed on the ReportGarden pricing page, checked 6 Oct 2026. Your team picks templates, checks the numbers, writes the analysis and manages sending.
reportfor.agency
$990 /month10 clients × $99, plus $997 one-time setup per agency. Each client covers up to 4 ad platforms, with GA4 and Search Console at no extra cost. Dashboards, weekly reports, monthly PDF, alerts and checks included.
ReportGarden is the cheaper software. What you buy from us is the work around the software. Before you decide, track how many hours your team spends on reporting in one month, then price those hours. At 20 clients, our price is $1,980/month; ReportGarden above 10 clients is custom pricing, so ask them for a quote. Our full price list is in pricing.
Switching from ReportGarden
You can move one client first. Our pilot is 1 client, $199 setup plus $99 for the first month, and the $199 is credited to the setup fee if you continue. Keep ReportGarden for the other clients while you compare.
A full move takes about two weeks: day 1–2 we connect with read-only access, day 3–7 you get the first report, day 8–12 we brand and tune, and on day 14 you go live. If the first report is not ready within 7 days of read-only access, you get the setup fee back. NDA and DPA are signed before we get any access.
Questions about ReportGarden alternatives
Has ReportGarden been acquired or shut down?
Not as far as we could find. On 6 Oct 2026 its site showed current pricing, a free trial and its leadership team, with no notice of a sale or rebrand.
Do you have templates like ReportGarden?
We do not sell templates. We build each client's live white-label dashboard in Google Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) with your logo and colors, and we update and check it every day.
Can you report on SEO too?
Yes. Search Console is included at no extra cost, and each report has an AI search check on how the client's brand appears in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.
Who sends the report to my client?
Your account manager. We never contact your clients.
Can you change my campaigns?
No. We use read-only access and cannot change campaigns, budgets or settings.
What if I leave?
Cancel any time with 30 days' notice. You keep the data, dashboards and documentation. Dashboards keep updating if you take over the data connector subscription, and we help you move it.
