TapClicks alternative for agencies that only need client reporting
Choose a TapClicks alternative if you need finished client reports, not a full marketing operations platform with orders, workflow and AI tools to set up. TapClicks is a good fit for agencies, media companies and multi-location brands that want one system for data, reporting and operations and have staff to run it. reportfor.agency is a fit when you want a managed service where our team builds and checks the reports and your account managers approve and send them.
TapClicks is more than a reporting tool
Most "TapClicks alternative" lists compare it with other dashboard tools. That misses what TapClicks is. Its homepage describes a wider product set (tapclicks.com, checked 6 Oct 2026):
- Data: "250+ native data connectors" and automated data warehousing.
- Reporting: SmartReports, SmartSlides for presentation decks, white-labeled client portals and scheduled delivery.
- Operations: TapOrders for order management and TapWorkflow for process automation.
- AI: SmartEmail for AI-written performance recaps, and AI agents that monitor campaigns.
TapClicks says it serves agencies, brands, franchises, media companies and healthcare groups. This breadth is its strength. If you sell media, take orders and run campaigns at volume, one platform for all of it can save a lot of handoffs.
But if your only pain is the weekly and monthly client report, you may pay for, and learn, much more than you need.
The four TapClicks plans, in plain words
The TapClicks pricing page lists four plans. It shows features, not prices, and asks you to book a call for a quote (pricing page, checked 20 Oct 2026). Every plan includes a "Startup bundle - 10 Clients Included, no extra charge".
SmartStory
The entry plan. Data warehousing, basic calculations, pre-defined data blends, basic branding, SmartSlides and the "TapData Lite" connector package.
SmartReports
Adds the full 250+ connector package, the Report Studio presentation builder, scheduled reports, SmartEmail and mobile apps for you and your clients.
SmartAnalytics and SmartSuite
Add custom data blends, unlimited dashboards and users, event alerts, goals and pacing, and AI insight agents. SmartSuite adds "Build Your Own" AI agents and "Setup / Services Included".
Each step up adds tools. Each tool also needs someone on your team to set it up, keep it working and read what it says.
Does TapClicks offer managed services?
Yes, in part, and it is fair to say so. In September 2025, TapClicks launched Adflo, which it calls "the AI OS for Modern Media Teams, with Managed Services" (TapClicks press release, 2 Sep 2025). The release says Adflo uses "managed services partners" and lets customers "Tap seasoned operators for overflow support or turnkey execution". Its top SmartSuite plan also lists "Setup / Services Included".
How is that different from us? Adflo, as described in the release, is aimed at media operations, with order management, workflow and media inventory. Our service covers one job only: client reporting for marketing agencies. A team of data engineers and marketing analysts builds and runs it. You get a dashboard, a weekly written report and a monthly PDF for every client, checked by an analyst. If you need help running media operations, ask TapClicks about Adflo. If you need the client report done, that is what we do.

When TapClicks is the better choice
- You need order management and workflow too. TapOrders and TapWorkflow cover work we do not touch.
- You are a media company or sell media at volume. TapClicks has a media companies solution, and Adflo adds media operations help.
- You want everything inside one vendor. One login for data, reports, orders and AI tools.
- Your clients want a mobile app. TapClicks lists client and agency mobile apps on its SmartReports plan and above.
- You need many niche sources. TapClicks lists 250+ native connectors. Our list is shorter: GA4, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Search Console and CRM.
When a managed service is the better choice
Pick a managed service when the missing piece is people, not features:
- Your team has the tools but no time to build templates, check totals and write updates for each client.
- You want a person, not only an AI, to check every report before your client sees it.
- You want live white-label dashboards (a web page, Data Studio or the tool that fits the client) and your data in your own cloud account.
- You do not want to hire. A data engineer and an analyst cost about $190,000 per year in US base pay (US Bureau of Labor Statistics medians, May 2024: data scientists, market research analysts).
- You want a known price per client, listed on the site.
If most of your spend is Google Ads and Meta, see our PPC reporting service.
Cost example: 10 clients
TapClicks does not publish prices. The software directory Capterra lists TapClicks from $599 per month (Capterra, checked 6 Oct 2026). Note: Capterra uses plan names (Basic, Pro, Elite) that do not match the current TapClicks pricing page, so treat it as a rough guide only. All TapClicks plans include 10 clients in the startup bundle.
TapClicks
From $599 /month (Capterra)Platform cost per the Capterra listing; ask TapClicks for a real quote. Your team still connects the sources, builds the reports, checks the numbers and edits each AI recap before it goes out.
reportfor.agency
$990 /month10 clients × $99, plus $997 one-time setup. Includes dashboards, weekly written reports, monthly PDFs, Slack alerts and data checks, run by our team. Your team reviews and sends, usually under 1 hour per client per month.
Compare the full cost: the platform fee plus the hours of the people who run it. Full details are in pricing.
Moving client reporting off TapClicks
You can move only the reporting and keep TapClicks for orders or workflow if you use them. Or move everything. Our plan:
- Day 1–2: you give read-only access. We cannot change campaigns, budgets or settings. NDA and DPA are signed first.
- Day 3–7: first report, or your setup fee back.
- Day 8–12: we apply your brand and tune the reports.
- Day 14: live, for up to 20 clients.
Questions about TapClicks alternatives
How much does TapClicks cost?
TapClicks does not list prices on its pricing page and asks you to book a call. Capterra lists a starting price of $599 per month (checked 6 Oct 2026).
Does TapClicks do the reporting for you?
TapClicks is mainly software. Its SmartSuite plan lists "Setup / Services Included", and its Adflo unit offers operators "for overflow support or turnkey execution" through managed services partners. Ask TapClicks what that covers for client reports.
Can I keep TapClicks for orders and use you for reports?
Yes. We need read-only access to the ad platforms and GA4, not to TapClicks. Our dashboards and reports read from data in your own cloud account.
Who writes the weekly report?
Code calculates every number. AI drafts the words, never the numbers. An analyst checks every report. Your account manager approves and sends it. We never contact your clients.
What if my client finds a wrong number?
If your client finds a number that does not match the source platform for a finished day before we flag it, that client's month is free. Recent "provisional" days are excluded.
How do I try it?
Use the free demo with one campaign CSV, or start a pilot: 1 client, $199 setup plus $99 for the first month, with the $199 credited to setup if you continue.
