Windsor.ai alternative: do you need another connector, or someone to run the reports?
If you are looking for a Windsor.ai alternative because you want cheaper or different data syncs, compare other connectors; if you are looking because your team has no time to build, check and explain client reports, a managed reporting service such as reportfor.agency is the better fit. Windsor.ai moves the data. Someone still has to build, check and explain the reports. If that is the part you want to stop doing, you do not need a different connector; you need a reporting team. We use connectors such as Windsor.ai in our pipeline.
Pick Windsor.ai if…
You want a low-cost, flexible pipe for many ad accounts, and your team builds and reads the reports.
Pick another connector if…
Windsor.ai is missing a source you need, or its account-based plans do not fit how you bill clients.
Pick reportfor.agency if…
You want dashboards, weekly written reports and data checks done for you, with an analyst checking every report.
Windsor vs reportfor.agency: two different jobs
People often type "Windsor vs reportfor.agency" as if the two were rivals. They are not. Windsor.ai is a no-code data integration platform. reportfor.agency is a fully managed client reporting service for marketing agencies: a data team for your client reporting, without the hire. Windsor.ai sits at the start of the reporting chain. We cover the rest of the chain, and we often use a connector like Windsor.ai to do the first step.
Think of your reporting as a chain of jobs:
- Move. Pull spend, clicks and conversions from each platform every day. Windsor.ai does this.
- Store. Keep the data somewhere you own. Windsor.ai can send it to BigQuery, Google Sheets and other places.
- Check. Confirm the data is fresh, complete and matches the source platforms.
- Show. Keep a branded dashboard up to date for each client.
- Explain. Say what changed, why, and what to do next.
- Send. Put it in an email the client will read.
A connector handles steps 1 and 2. Steps 3 to 6 are people work. That is the part that takes your team time each week, and that is the work we take over.
What Windsor.ai is good at
Windsor.ai has a strong offer for agencies that handle many accounts. From its own home page and pricing page (checked 6 Oct 2026):
- Many sources. It lists 350+ data sources with no-code connectors.
- Many accounts per plan. Even the Basic plan lists 75 accounts, and the Professional plan lists 500. An "account" is one advertising, analytics or CRM account that you manage.
- Agency helpers. The Professional plan includes "Auto-add all accounts", which Windsor.ai says is "designed specifically for agencies".
- Unlimited users on every paid plan, so the whole team can work in it.
- AI access. Windsor MCP lets you ask questions about your data in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools.
- Generous trial. A 30-day free trial, then a forever-free plan with 1 data source and 1 account.
- Attribution. It also offers multi-touch attribution.
The AI question: asking your data vs a checked report
Windsor MCP is useful. You can ask an AI tool "Which campaign spent the most last week?" and get an answer from live data. For a skilled marketer, that saves time.
A client report is a different thing. It must be right, it must be consistent from week to week, and someone must stand behind it. In our process the order is fixed:
- Code calculates every number.
- AI drafts the words. It never makes the numbers. It sees campaign totals only, no personal data, and the data is not used to train AI.
- An analyst checks every report.
- Your account manager approves and sends it. We never contact your clients.
So the question is not "AI or no AI". The question is who checks the answer before your client reads it.
Windsor.ai alone vs Windsor.ai + reportfor.agency

Cost example: 20 clients
Windsor.ai prices by sources and accounts, so the client count matters. Take an agency with 20 clients. Each client has Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and GA4. That is 4 data sources and 80 accounts.
On the Windsor.ai pricing page (checked 20 Oct 2026), Standard is $118/month ($99/month billed yearly) with 7 data sources and 75 accounts. 80 accounts is more than 75. Plus is $299/month ($249/month billed yearly) with 10 data sources and 200 accounts, so Plus fits this example.
reportfor.agency, 20 clients
$1,980 /month$99 per client per month + $997 one-time setup per agency. Up to 4 ad platforms per client; GA4 and Search Console at no extra cost. Full details on our pricing.
Windsor.ai Plus is far cheaper as a line item, and for a pure data pipe it is good value. The difference is the work. With the connector alone, your team still builds 20 dashboards, checks 80 accounts and writes 20 updates. Count your own hours for one month before you decide. For a wider check: hiring a data engineer and an analyst costs about $190,000 a year in US base pay (US Bureau of Labor Statistics medians, May 2024: data scientists, market research analysts). With us, your team's part is review only, usually under 1 hour per client per month.
When Windsor.ai on its own is enough
- You have an in-house analyst who builds and maintains reports and enjoys it.
- You manage many ad accounts and mainly need cheap, steady syncs to a warehouse or BI tool.
- Your team likes to explore data with AI tools through Windsor MCP and does its own checking.
- You need attribution models or a destination that our service does not use.
- Clients only want a dashboard link, not a written update.
When a managed reporting service is the better choice
- The data arrives fine, but the dashboards, checks and client emails pile up every week.
- You want an analyst to check every report before your account manager sends it.
- You want to know about a big change in spend or cost per conversion the same day, in Slack.
- You want to grow to 20 clients or more without hiring a data team.
- You want a guarantee: first report within 7 days of read-only access, or the setup fee back.

Agencies that really need a different connector
If your reason to leave is the connector itself, compare connectors on sources, plan limits and price model. Two common options, each with its own approach:
- Supermetrics prices by data sources, users and accounts per source. Starter is $49/month billed monthly, per its pricing page (checked 20 Oct 2026). It sends data to Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Excel, Power BI and warehouses.
- Coupler.io prices by connected accounts and includes dashboard templates. Starter is $32/month billed monthly, per its pricing page (checked 20 Oct 2026).
We use connectors such as Supermetrics, Windsor.ai and Coupler.io in our pipeline. All three do the moving well. The best one depends on your sources and account count.
Switching to a managed service, or adding one
You can keep Windsor.ai and add us, or let us run the full pipe. Either way the start is the same: read-only access on day 1–2 (we cannot change campaigns, budgets or settings, and we sign an NDA and DPA first), first report on day 3–7, brand and tune on day 8–12, live on day 14. Up to 20 clients go live in 14 days.
Not sure yet? Start with a pilot: 1 client, $199 setup + $99 for the first month. The $199 is credited to the setup fee if you continue. If you leave later, you keep your data, dashboards and documentation. Dashboards keep updating only if you take over the data connector subscription, and we help you move it.
Questions about Windsor.ai alternatives
Is reportfor.agency a replacement for Windsor.ai?
Not exactly. Windsor.ai is a connector. We are a reporting team that uses connectors such as Windsor.ai to move data into BigQuery, then builds, checks and explains the reports.
Can I keep using Windsor MCP with my data?
Your data sits in your own cloud account as clean, documented data models, checked every day, so it is ready for AI. Your team can connect its own AI tools to the same checked numbers as your reports. We set up the data, not the AI tools, and the AI and query costs are your agency's. Ask us on the call how this fits your setup.
How many accounts can one client have with you?
Each client includes up to 4 ad platforms. GA4 and Search Console are at no extra cost. A CRM counts as 1 of the 4.
Do you talk to my clients?
No. Your account manager approves and sends every report. We never contact your clients.
What if a number is wrong?
We check data every day. If your client finds a wrong number (one that does not match the source platform for a finished day; recent "provisional" days are excluded) before we flag it, that client's month is free.
Can I see the output first?
Yes. The free demo takes one campaign CSV export and shows changes, risks and next actions. It runs in your browser and the data is not uploaded. You can also see other comparisons.
